Curriculum Overview

At Redeemer Christian School, our academic program is designed to challenge minds and shape hearts.

From foundational literacy in kindergarten to rigorous college-prep courses in high school, every subject is taught through the lens of a Biblical worldview. We provide a comprehensive Kprep–12 curriculum that integrates faith and learning—encouraging students to think critically, communicate clearly, and lead confidently.

Our small class sizes ensure personalized attention, while enrichment programs in arts, STEM, athletics, and discipleship help students discover and develop their God-given gifts. More than just preparing students for tests, we prepare them for life—grounded in truth, rooted in Christ, and equipped to influence culture for the Kingdom of God. At Redeemer, your child will grow in knowledge, character, and purpose.

The philosophy of the school will be carried out through its educational program. Textbooks and curriculum are important factors within this framework and must be carefully chosen and formulated.

1.    All curriculum and texts must be supportive of RCS’ philosophy for the educational process and philosophy of Redeemer Christian School.
2.    All curricula will be taught through a Biblical worldview.
3.    All curriculum and texts must present subject material in a clear, logical manner in order that the students may understand.
4.    All texts shall be well organized, engaging to the student, and grade level appropriate.
5.    Support material shall be complete with sufficient guidelines for the new teacher, but flexible enough to allow for student needs and teacher strengths.
6.    Each text shall fit into the scope and sequence of the entire RCS program.
7.    Support material should be provided by the publisher or be easily prepared by the teacher.
8.    Science material will present origin from a creationist model, while examining other models or origins objectively.
9.    Language matter will be from a “true phonics” modality including grammar, spelling, reading, and literature.
10.  Curriculum and texts will be taught with consistency aligning with Biblical principles of the home, family, race, and gender roles.
